Where to park

The organiser's website does not cover parking yet. News reports say the Department of Land Transport has set up free car parks at 22 sites around Udon Thani city, with shuttles to the Expo (Post Today, 30 Oct 2026). Another report names car parks such as Lotus's Plus Udon, Central Plaza Udon Thani and The Land at UD Town, with shuttles to the site (Bangkok Biz News, 29 Oct 2026). Check with the organiser where to park on the day.

The Expo is in Udon Thani province, so it is inside the driving area for every rental length under our terms. Keep to paved roads, use a proper car park, lock the car and keep valuables out of sight.

Tips before you go

  • Buy your ticket and register ahead. Tickets are sold online or at a 7-Eleven, and every visitor must register online before each visit.
  • Comfortable shoes, a hat and water. The site is big and mostly outdoors.
  • Go on a weekday if you can. Long weekends tend to be busier, with more traffic at the entrance.
  • Travelling with small children? Ask for a free child seat when you book (limited number).
  • Leave early for the Red Lotus Sea. The flowers open in the morning and close as the sun gets strong.

Which car to choose

The whole trip stays in Udon Thani province, so choose by the number of people and the luggage. Every car is automatic with a reversing camera.

Starting prices per day for rentals of 2 days or more, low-season weekdays, with CDW included (collision damage waiver: you pay at most the excess per incident). The cash deposit is separate and comes back when you return the car in good order. See all cars and prices
