Car rental in Udon Thani with no credit card: a cash deposit instead
At K Car Rent you do not need a credit card. You leave a cash deposit at pick-up and get it back when you return the car, if all is in order. The rent can be paid in cash, or by credit card if you prefer.

Cash deposit by car type
You pay the deposit in cash when you collect the car and get it back when you return it, if the car and everything else is in order. The amount depends on the type of car.

What you pay, and when
- Send us your datesOn LINE or through the booking page. We check which cars are available and send you the price. Nothing to pay at this point.
- Transfer the advance payment, ฿500–5,000Once we confirm your car on LINE, a bank transfer confirms the booking. Use only the account we send through our own LINE.
- Pick-up day: leave the cash depositBring your original driving licence, your original ID card or passport, and cash for the deposit (฿3,000–10,000 depending on the car type).
- Return day: your deposit comes backBring the car back full at the agreed time. When the car and everything else is in order, we return your deposit. Costs that can come up during a rental are listed under Charges if they happen.

Bank details come only through our own LINE We never send bank details any other way. If you receive bank details in our name from anywhere else, do not transfer: ask us first on LINE or call +66 90 888 33 84.
What to bring on pick-up day
- Your original driving licence, held for at least 1 year (drivers 25 or over)
- Your original Thai ID card or passport (no copies or photos)
- Cash for the deposit: ฿3,000–10,000 depending on the car type

I have no credit card. Can I still rent from K Car Rent?
Yes. You do not need a credit card at all: the deposit is paid in cash at pick-up (฿3,000–10,000 depending on the car type) and the rent can be paid in cash.
Can I rent without a deposit?
No. Every rental has a cash deposit of ฿3,000–10,000 depending on the car type. You pay it at pick-up and get it back when you return the car, if the car and everything else is in order.
Can I pay the deposit by transfer or credit card?
No. The deposit is cash only, so bring enough cash when you collect the car.
Can I pay the rent by credit card?
Yes, if you want to. Card payments carry a 3% fee, with a minimum of ฿4,000. Or pay the rent in cash.
Do I pay anything in advance? When?
Nothing until we confirm your car on LINE. Then an advance payment of ฿500–5,000 by bank transfer confirms the booking. Our bank details come only through our own LINE.
No credit card? No problem. Ask us for a car.
Send your pick-up and return dates on LINE and we reply with the cars available and the price. Free pick-up at Udon Thani International Airport, car park A1. Every car is automatic.
